I'm Vanci, a cheerful pup who takes life as it comes. Born on a farm I was fortunate to explore freedom at an early age, yet I longed for human connection. One day, this boy came along and we connected instantly. I suddenly found myself in between walls, spending many hours waiting for my new people to come home. I did well, befriending the household cat and eagerly learning tricks, but ultimately my presence was too much of a burden for the family and I was entrusted to SARA.

Background

Vanci was born on a farm south of Marrakech. He was scooped up by a Moroccan family in January 2026 as they were passing through on their way back to Agadir. Vanci appeared to be on his own and he instantly connected with the family's teenage son, which prompted his mother to bring the puppy home with them. Unfortunately, the family's living arrangements did not allow for keeping a dog and so Vanci came into SARA care after a few weeks of home care.
