Hi, I'm Sozar, a people pleaser with loads of potential. Having lived in a human home already, I master some basic commands and house rules, and I'm accustomed to leashed walks and car rides. Young and energetic I enjoy peer play and when I'm happy I get the zoomies. My utmost priority is connecting with humans, and once I've gotten the attention I crave I'm a chilled companion. I've been at the SARA shelter for a couple of months now, sharing an enclosure with a dozen other dogs, and while I do socialise with my peers I struggle with this arrangement. I truly miss my foster family and the attention I used to get. I'm ready for adoption abroad, just waiting for a good match!

Background

Sozar is from Kenitra, a northern Moroccan city on the Atlantic coast. After suffering numerous flesh injuries in what appears to have been a vicious dog attack, a local couple picked him up, tended to his wounds and fostered him temporarily. Under their loving care, Sozar recovered fully. Soon, his cheerful, loving nature emerged. Unfortunately, the couple could not adopt Sozar and thus entrusted him to SARA Morocco until he finds a permanent home.
