Bio
I'm Michele, a sweet senior. After living in large dog groups for several years, I've recently been given a small private enclosure together with my best buddy, Milton. Turns out Milton and I have a lot in common! Not only do we resemble one another with our sturdy bodies and cheerful nature, we also really enjoy outdoor activities together. We both really enjoy time out in the garden, to sniff and wander at our own pace. On a few occasions we've been allowed outside the refuge to go on leashed walks and we both really enjoyed that. After all this time behind refuge walls, exploring the countryside is so exciting for us. I'm always keen on meeting people and would love to have a family of my own to share love and affection, and to finally settle down. I won't need much exercise - slow-paced walks and the occasional off-leash time in a garden or dog park will make me more than happy.
Background
Born a stray, Michele was rescued by SARA back in 2018. She spent several years at our Clebs and Shems refuges until we relocated her to our main site, the Farm refuge, in 2024 to provide her with a more comfortable environment and to prepare her for adoption. Michele is overall in good health but will probably require some dental treatment in the near future.
