I'm Mery, and my name fits me well because I'm a merry gal! I'm enthusiastic about people, peers and life in general. I get along great with my roomies at the refuge - we're about 10 in our enclosure - but human visitors are clearly the highlight of my day. I wish for a family of my own to love and to explore the world with.

Background

Mery was born in our village, Aït Moussa. One day in January 2023, local children called out SARA member Larbi as he was driving through and led him to three stray puppies who were alone and poorly. One of them passed away within days. The other two, Mery and sister Mitzi, regained strength at our farm refuge, growing up amidst dogs and cats. Mitzi has since been adopted. Mery can be prepared for adoption abroad within 3-4 months.
