Hi, I’m Izar, a small dog with a huge heart. I’m always the first to greet new faces with a wagging tail and a warm cuddle. My easy-going and gentle nature makes me a favorite around the shelter. I get along wonderfully with all my canine companions, and I never hesitate to join in on playtime or snuggle up for a cozy nap. If you're looking for a gentle and affectionate family companion, I'm a perfect choice. I'd be happy to share my home with other dogs or cats. Standing 50cm tall and weighing 15kg, I’m petite and easy to lift up. Due to a shoulder issue I need a little extra care and am not suited for high-intensity sports.

Background

We rescued Izar from the dog pound along with her brother, Iggy, when they were about 3 months old. From the outset, both siblings impressed us with their confident and vibrant personality. They grew up amongst peers and have been nothing but sociable and pleasant. Izar suffers from an abnormality in her right shoulder.
