Hi I'm Fido, a friendly weirdo. I'm keen on human friendship, just not quite sure how to go about it. Born in the street, I was rescued as a junior, and I was very frightened back then. Being around other - more carefree - dogs at the refuge has helped me build confidence and unveil my gentle and cheerful nature. Now, I'm fairly relaxed in the presence of my regular caretakers. But I still don't dare approach strangers and occasional visitors. Though very curious, I back off when they reach out to touch me, and I hide behind my peers. Maybe one day I'll find my human soulmate. I'd thrive in a predictable environment with someone experienced, who knows how to gain my trust and work on my social skills. In the meantime, a sponsorship would be great, too!

Fido was born approx. September 2021 and has been with us since 2022. He peacefully shares his space with a dozen other dogs.
