Bio

I'm Cheeto, a friendly but timid fellow. It was really frightening when me and my siblings lost our mum in the middle of a busy city and had nothing to eat and nowhere to take shelter. At the refuge we recovered and grew into healthy young dogs, but I was never quite able to forget my traumatic past. I get along well with my peers at the refuge and feel safe with my caretakers, but when volunteers come to see me I prefer to keep a distance.

Background

Of a litter of 5 puppies rescued in Agadir at the start of 2023. They were around 3 months old when we found them huddled up on a road under construction, seeking shelter inside a water drainage hole. They were malnourished and in desperate need for protection. We brought them to the safety of our farm refuge where they grew up amidst other puppies. One of them, Franklin, was later adopted in Germany.
