Bio
I'm Bebush, known for my friendly and somewhat aloof disposition. I've been at the refuge for as far as I can remember. I have fond memories of growing up on the farm with my siblings and other puppies. I was always a bit slower than the others, hence my name, which means "snail" in the local language. Some of my litter mates got adopted whilst they were young, but I didn't, and so I was moved to an enclosure, waiting for my ticket to a better life. I'm used to sharing my space with other dogs, and my calm and conciliatory nature keeps me out of trouble. I'm a bit clumsy around humans, but I do connect with people who give me a chance to relax and get to know them on my own terms. My ideal family has dogs already and perhaps a garden. I'm not accustomed to urban life. I was well socialised with cats as a puppy and don't mind cohabiting with felines.
Background
Bebush is one of 7 puppies we rescued from a forest near Taroudant in the spring of 2021 after they got separated from their mothers and were being mishandled by kids. Several of them have been adopted, living in Europe and Canada.
Our Happy Tales
We have helped over 150 dogs find their forever homes, bringing joy to both the dogs and their new families.
