I'm Akkal, a lively and confident senior. Despite some challenges, I don’t let anything slow me down. I had a rough start to life when I was just a pup, but you wouldn't know it from my upbeat spirit. I may have limited eyesight, but I navigate my world with enthusiasm. I live with a group of doggy friends who don't mind when I bounce around and sometimes bump into them, we make a great team! My playful personality shines through in everything I do, and I’m always happiest when I’m around people, sharing smiles and enjoying belly rubs. I’d be a perfect addition to a family that loves to laugh, play, and give cuddles.

Background

Akkal’s journey began on the streets, where he faced hardship early in life. When we first found him as a puppy, he had been in a terrible accident, leaving his head injured and his vision impaired. With dedicated care and treatment, Akkal made a remarkable recovery. Though his eyesight will always be limited, he’s learned to adapt with grace and confidence.
