Hi, I’m Umi! I’m a gentle, beautiful girl who likes to take a little time before fully trusting someone new. I can be a bit timid at first, and even if I let you come close, I may still need some time before I feel completely relaxed.
Once I start to trust you, though, things become much easier. I’ve grown up surrounded by other dogs and I’m very used to having canine friends around me. I currently live with a group of young dogs around my size, many of whom I’ve known since we were puppies.
I think I’d do best with someone patient and kind who will let me settle in at my own pace. Give me that little bit of time, and I’ll have the chance to show you the sweet girl behind the hesitation.

Background

Umi was rescued as a young puppy during the large rescue in which we took around 500 dogs from the animal center.
She had originally been picked up from the streets while still very young, so she spent relatively little time living as a street dog before ending up at the animal center. From there, she came into our care and grew up at the farm shelter.
Umi was raised alongside other rescued puppies, receiving the food, care and attention she needed as she grew. Today, she lives with a group of young dogs around her size, including dogs she has known since puppyhood.
She has a beautiful appearance and a gentle personality, and while she remains a little cautious with new people, we believe that with patience and trust she could adjust well to life with a family.

Welcome Your New Friend Home

After confirming your adoption, we’ll assist with travel logistics to bring your new friend home safely and cost-effectively. If you’re in Morocco or can visit, you’re welcome to pick up your dog directly from us and have a tour of the animal refuge.
