Hi, I’m Onyx! I’m a friendly, affectionate Labrador-type boy who loves being around people. Whenever someone comes into my section, you’ll often find me right beside their legs, looking up and hoping for some attention and a few gentle cuddles.
I may be a little older now, and maybe a little chubby too but honestly, that just adds to my charm. I still enjoy playing, moving around and being part of whatever is happening.
On hot days, I also love finding somewhere to cool down. If there’s a little muddy spot or a small pool nearby, there’s a good chance I’ll happily settle myself into it.
I’m a loving, people-oriented dog, and I’d really love the chance to finally experience the kind of family life I deserve.

Background

Onyx once had a family, but unfortunately he was not given the care and affection we believe every dog deserves. When they no longer wanted to keep him, he came into our care.
Since arriving at the shelter, Onyx has shown us just how affectionate and people-oriented he is. Despite his past, he actively seeks out human company and loves being close to the team.
Today, he lives safely with us and spends his days playing, enjoying attention and taking every opportunity he gets to splash around in water. We would love to see him leave shelter life behind and finally find a family who will truly value him.

Welcome Your New Friend Home

After confirming your adoption, we’ll assist with travel logistics to bring your new friend home safely and cost-effectively. If you’re in Morocco or can visit, you’re welcome to pick up your dog directly from us and have a tour of the animal refuge.
