I'm Mia, a fluffy goofball who loves to cuddle! I'm good at walking on leash and generally keen on pleasing people and learning from them. In fact, I much prefer the company of humans to that of other dogs. The refuge environment and constant noise stress me out, which is why my caretakers paired me with Bear, a fellow Nordic dog. He's my roommate and my best friend, too. Felines aren't my cup of tea - seeing the cats at the farm makes me want to chase them.

Background

Mia is a Malamute (or Malamute-Husky mix?). She was presumably born to a backstreet breeder in Morocco and sold as a puppy but then left out in the streets by her first owner. We found her at the city pound back in October 2024. Nobody came looking for her. Mia is now fully vaccinated and ready to travel abroad (to Europe etc.), just waiting for a loving home. By local standards she's a large dog but by Malamute breed standards she's on the smaller side.

Welcome Your New Friend Home

After confirming your adoption, we’ll assist with travel logistics to bring your new friend home safely and cost-effectively. If you’re in Morocco or can visit, you’re welcome to pick up your dog directly from us and have a tour of the animal refuge.
