I’m Louisa, a lady dog born in April 2021. I’m lively and keen on human companionship. Back at the refuge in Morocco I used to love sprinting around the garden. Growing up around dogs and cats I got used to sharing my space. I was one of the refuge darlings, always bursting with joy at the sight of my caretakers. At my foster home in Germany I'm getting accustomed to being indoors and following house rules, although I prefer being outside in the garden for the time being. The journey and change of scenery took a toll on my confidence and I'm not yet quite sure what is expected of me. I'm in a hurry to meet my forever human/family to finally settle down in a stable and loving environment. I still have a few things to learn but am highly motivated and eager to please you. With my athletic disposition I'd make a great partner for running, hiking and agility sports.
Background
Louisa comes from a suburb of Agadir. A resident rescued her as a puppy in April 2021 and cared for her for several weeks before bringing her to us. During her first months at our farm refuge, we let Louisa run free, allowing her to mingle with people, dogs, cats and other farm animals all day long. Due to spacial constraints we later moved her to an enclosure where she went on to live with a dozen other dogs. Louisa arrived in Germany at the start of April 2025 and is currently fostered near Düsseldorf.

After confirming your adoption, we’ll assist with travel logistics to bring your new friend home safely and cost-effectively. If you’re in Morocco or can visit, you’re welcome to pick up your dog directly from us and have a tour of the animal refuge.

We’ll evaluate your application and discuss with you whether the dog(s) you’re interested in are a good match. If not, we’ll suggest other wonderful dogs that share a similar appearance, yet better suit your lifestyle and expectations.
