Hi, I’m Lili! I’m a sweet, friendly and easygoing girl who loves being around people, especially once I know and trust them. When I see someone I’m comfortable with, I’m happy to run over and ask for a little attention.
I get along well with dogs of different ages, from puppies to seniors, and I’m generally very relaxed around them. I’m playful, affectionate and not the kind of dog who looks for trouble.
I only have three legs now, but you really wouldn’t know it from the way I enjoy life. I walk, run and play just like any other happy young dog. I’ve adapted beautifully, and I’d love to find a home where I can keep enjoying life with people of my own.
Background
Lili came to us from Essaouira with a badly injured paw. We initially did everything we could to save it, including daily bandage changes, antibiotics and ongoing treatment.
Unfortunately, the injury continued to worsen, especially because every time Lili walked she had to put pressure on the damaged paw. Eventually, amputation became the only remaining option.
We took Lili to Marrakech for the surgery, and thankfully everything went well. Since returning to the shelter, she has recovered very well and adapted quickly to life on three legs. Today she is active, playful, comfortable around other dogs and enjoying life again.

After confirming your adoption, we’ll assist with travel logistics to bring your new friend home safely and cost-effectively. If you’re in Morocco or can visit, you’re welcome to pick up your dog directly from us and have a tour of the animal refuge.
