I'm Kratos, a brave spirit who has overcome a lot of hardship. I may look a bit different due to my nose, but look beyond my scars and you'll see nothing but my bright personality. I enjoy human company and am very fond of my caretakers at SARA, who tended to my wounds and made me put on weight and gain strength. Now I'm hoping for a kind adopter to take me home and care for me. A calm home with people who love me for who I am is all I'm asking for.

Background

When Kratos first arrived at SARA Morocco, he was very thin and in poor condition. He had visibly been suffering from leishmaniasis for some time, and the disease had already eaten away part of his nostrils. His coat was dull and patchy. With a lot of care, patience and medication, Kratos gradually regained strength and vitality farm refuge. One year on and he is barely recognisable! Of course his nose tissue won’t grow back. But with the proper medication he still has years of life ahead of him.

Welcome Your New Friend Home

After confirming your adoption, we’ll assist with travel logistics to bring your new friend home safely and cost-effectively. If you’re in Morocco or can visit, you’re welcome to pick up your dog directly from us and have a tour of the animal refuge.
