Hi, I’m Shames! I’m a very sweet and gentle girl who loves being around people and getting affection. I’m usually happiest when someone comes over to spend time with me, and I often have a little smile on my face.

I’ve been through a lot, and I now have some lasting injuries, including loss of vision in one eye. But none of that has taken away my affectionate nature. I’m generally friendly with other dogs too, and I’m not the kind of dog who goes looking for trouble.

I’d love to find a family who can look beyond what happened to me and see the loving dog I am today. I may look a little different, but I still have so much love to give.

Hintergrund

Shames was rescued in very serious condition after what appeared to be a road accident. The impact caused severe injuries: her jaw was split in two, she had wounds along her back, and she also lost vision in one eye.

She needed a great deal of care after arriving with us, and considering the extent of her injuries, her recovery has been remarkable.

Today, Shames is a happy and affectionate dog who loves human attention and continues to enjoy life despite everything she has been through. We would love to see her eventually find a family who will accept her exactly as she is and give her the safe, loving home she deserves.
