Hi, I’m Molly! I’m a gentle, easygoing boy who likes to take things at my own pace. I’m friendly and enjoy attention, but I’m not the kind of dog who pushes his way to the front. I prefer to come over calmly and ask for affection in my own quiet way.

When I’m out of my section, I like wandering around and playing with my friends for a while. Once I’ve had enough excitement, I’m perfectly happy going back to my spot, sitting down and watching everything happening around me. I’m not particularly shy, but I may not be the dog who runs straight up to someone I’ve just met.

I think I’d really flourish in a home where I’m given the time and space to settle in and let my lovely personality come through. I have a gentle nature and so much potential to become a wonderful companion.

Hintergrund

Molly and his brother were found abandoned directly outside our shelter when they were only days or weeks old and still needed milk. It was an extremely hot day, and both puppies were dehydrated, with very dry mouths and dirt covering them. At first, we weren’t sure they were going to survive.

Because they were so young and needed constant care, we found an experienced foster who could look after them until they were old enough to come to the shelter. She cared for them closely and gave them everything they needed during those fragile first weeks.

Sadly, Molly’s brother did not survive, but Molly pulled through. He has since grown into a beautiful, healthy dog with a calm and gentle character. After such a difficult beginning, it is lovely to see the easygoing boy he has become today.
