Hi, I’m Fouad! I’m a friendly, playful and active boy who loves exploring, having fun and, of course, getting treats. I’m also very happy to receive attention from people once I feel comfortable with them.

When I first arrived, I was frightened and unsure about being handled. But with time, patience and gentle care, I learned that the people around me were there to help. Now my much brighter personality has really started to show.

I can run, play and enjoy life normally, and I think that in a loving home, with someone who gives me a little time to settle in, I could become an even more confident and affectionate companion.

Hintergrund

Fouad was brought to us from an area near Agadir by people who were trying to help him with the means they had available. They transported him carefully in a plastic box so they could get him safely to us, and we were grateful that they made the effort to bring him for help.

When Fouad arrived, one of his back paws was severely injured, most likely after an accident. The wound was very deep and parts of the bone were visible. Saving his leg required a lot of care, including regular treatment and daily bandage changes.

At first, Fouad was extremely stressed and frightened, and we sometimes needed to use a muzzle so we could safely treat his painful wound. Gradually, he began to understand that we were helping him and started trusting us more.

Thankfully, all that care paid off. Fouad kept his leg, and today he walks, runs and plays without it affecting his daily life. He has grown into a happy, friendly dog, and the next thing we would love for him is a family of his own.
