Bio

I’m Opal, a spirited and joyful dog. My playful nature and cheerful personality make me a wonderful companion. I thrive on making connections with people and am always eager for a game or a cuddle. Growing up among a big group of dogs, I get along beautifully with my furry friends and love being part of the pack. My sunny disposition and affectionate demeanor ensure I bring a lot of happiness wherever I go.

Background

Opal was born in the streets of Agadir to a purebred Sloughi mother called Jet. Jet was looked after by residents of her neighbourhood, but after she gave birth and her litter was attacked, we took them in. Once at the farm shelter, mother Jet didn't show any interest in her puppies, and so they were brought up by SARA volunteer Hazel in a her multi-dog & -cat household. Jet was adopted later in 2022, living a comfortable and relaxed life in Germany. One of the sisters has also moved to Germany since. Amber, Coral and Opal are still waiting for a forever home.
