I'm Nala, a sensitive soul on the look-out for a loving forever home in Germany. It's been only a couple of weeks since I left Morocco, and I've been busy taking in all the new experiences. Living in a human home was entirely new to me. My foster mum knew how to earn my trust, and her two dogs helped me settle in. Now, I'm house and leash trained, eager to learn more. Communicating with other dogs comes easy to me and I don't mind sharing my space and resources. I'm most happy outdoors, running, chasing my dog buddies and rolling around in the lawn. It's so green here, compared to where I'm from! I don't mind travelling by car and even took part in a dog agility camp. Encountering humans still intimidates me. Don't expect me to throw myself at you with a wagging tail - I need some time to be at ease and form a bond. My adopter(s) should have prior dog experience to help me navigate their world. Frequent outdoor exercise and playtime with peers are a must. Other dogs in the household would be ideal. I'm ok with cats, too. As for children, they should be older and accustomed to dogs.

Seit ich aus Marokko kam vor ein paar Wochen habe ich schon soviel erlebt. Mit Menschen zusammenzuleben war für mich völlig neu. Meine Pflegemama hat mein Vertrauen gewonnen, und ihre beiden Hunde haben mir bei der Eingewöhnung geholfen. Jetzt bin ich stubenrein und leinenführig, und begierig mehr zu lernen. Kommunikation mit Artgenossen fällt mir leicht und es macht mir nichts aus, Raum und Ressourcen zu teilen. Am liebsten bin ich draußen, renne, jage meinen Hunde-Kumpeln hinterher und wälze mich auf dem Rasen. Es ist so schön grün hier! Ich fahre anstandslos Auto und habe sogar schon an einem Agility-Camp teilgenommen. Fremden begegne ich bislang mit Rückhalt. Ich bin nicht von der Sorte Hund der sich schwanzwedelnd auf einen stürzt. Ich brauche Zeit um mich wohl zu fühlen und eine Bindung aufzubauen. Mein(e) Adoptant(en) sollte(n) bereits Hundeerfahrung haben, damit ich mich in ihrer Welt schnell zurechtfinden kann. Viel Auslauf und Kontakt zu Artgenossen sind ein Muss. Andere Hunde im Haushalt wären ideal. Ich komme auch mit Katzen zurecht. Kinder sollten älter und an Hunde gewöhnt sein.

Nala and her sister Kiara born as strays in a village near Marrakech. Rescued by a student from the USA, they were entrusted to SARA Morocco at the age of 3 months. Growing up at our farm refuge alongside other puppies, Nala and Kiara gained valuable social skills. Nala arrived in Germany on May 18th, 2025 and is being fostered near Dortmund.
