Bio
I'm Lexi, a friendly and cheerful little lady. I love spending time with my caretakers at SARA and am grateful for every bit of attention. I was a caring mother to my baby boy Lulu whom I gave birth to at the refuge. Motherhood didn't keep me from socialising and meeting lots of new dogs at the refuge. Lulu and I live harmoniously with a bunch of junior dogs, like a big family. It's been good to find shelter here but I do wish for human companionship and as the puppies are literally outgrowing me I hope to be adopted one day soon!
Background
Lexi is a small-sized braque or pointer. She was likely kept for hunting or birthing puppies, and later abandoned. She was pregnant when we found her at the dog pound in December 2024. She gave birth to one male puppy - Lulu - at our farm refuge shortly after. Lexi raised Lulu while also becoming a maternal figure to other young dogs. Lulu is one of our smallest dogs for adoption, weighing no more than 14kg and measuring about 43cm in shoulder height.
