Born in March of 2021. Shems's name means "sun" in Arabic, and she is a little sunshine. She was rescued from a forest when she was around 1 month old, along with her siblings. She grew up roaming our farm refuge, playing with puppies and cats all day long. She now lives in an enclosure with other dogs (male and female).

Shems is confident among her peers and gets on well with cats. She is friendly with people but not the kind to jump right into your arms. She needs a little time to get to know a new person. Shems loves exploring the garden. She hopes to find adopters who enjoy outdoor sports and will take her to the dog park and other fun places. She wouldn't mind other pets or older children in the household.
