Born in April 2021. Tiza was rescued by a couple living in Ouarzazate, between the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert. While on a hike, they found her and her 4 siblings trapped between rocks, likely abandoned on purpose. The puppies were tiny and ill, and only Tiza survived. They could not keep her and brought her to us when she was 6 months old. Tiza is a lively and energetic dog who plays vigorously. When with humans whom she likes, Tiza wiggles and bounces with joy and rolls over for cuddles. But in certain situations, when she feels trapped, she becomes insecure and defensive. It does not take long at all to gain her trust, but it will take some canine experience to guide her into becoming a well-behaved pet. She is not accustomed to children. She lives with other dogs and tolerates cats.
