Born in February 2022. Opal and her sisters (Amber, Coral and Pearl) were born in the streets of Agadir. After residents tried to poison them, local dog lovers intervened and we took them in. Their mum - a Sloughi (Moroccan sighthound) - has since been happily adopted in Germany. Because the mum rejected her offspring, the puppies were initially nurtured by SARA volunteer Hazel in a household with several cats and dogs, until they were strong enough to go to the farm refuge. Opal grew up among puppies and now lives in a large group of dogs whom she gets along well with. Opal is playful, cheerful, and loves connecting with people.
