Hintergrund

Souki got her name from the place where we found her - the city souk. A road traffic accident had left her
immobilised and in great pain, surrounded by flies. X-rays revealed fractures in her pelvic vertebrae. She also had infected pressure wounds. Due to her condition, surgery was't an option. We managed her recovery with wound dressings, painkillers, antibiotics, and keeping her clean.
