Biografie
Hello, I'm Milord, and there's a reason for my name. Once upon a time, I was a free and proud spirit, ruling over a stretch of beach and interacting with humans on my own terms. I did have a special connection to one lady, Francine, who looked after me, and when she insisted on me going to the vet I abided out of courtesy. One day she told me there were people out to kill me and my kind and so I reluctantly agreed to go to SARA. I thought it was going to temporary. But here I am, 5 years on, still at the shelters and hoping to regain some freedom while I'alive. By local standards, I'm a senior. It's not yet safe for me to return to my beach, and, besides, too many years have passed for me to readapt to life in the wild.
I truly hope to connect with someone out there and to find a loving home to retire. I don't need much to be content. A relaxed environment and a patient adopter, as it might take some time for me to form a bond. At the shelters, I've shared my space with more dogs than I can count, and I've proven my social skills. When human visitors are around I stay in the background to avoid their attention.
Hintergrund
Milord comes from Imi Ouaddar, a seaside village north of Agadir. He was born sometime in 2017 and came into our care in 2018 at a time when strays in his area were being rounded up by the authorities. We had already gotten him castrated and vaccinated as part of our TNVR, but this didn't protect him then. Milord can be prepared for adoption abroad within 3-4 months upon request.
