Biografie

I'm Diana, a calm dog looking for stability and love. My life has not been easy. Once upon a time my owner neglected and then abandoned me, perhaps because I got pregnant. I was given shelter at SARA where I could nurse my puppies for as long as needed and was even able to accompany them into adulthood. Despite the difficult circumstances I was a great mother to them. I've now spent several years at the refuge, sharing my space with other dogs, and if you look into my sad eyes you'll understand that I really desire a different life. Don't understand me wrong, I do get along with my peers and love every moment spent with human caretakers. But I don't enjoy sharing space and attention with many other dogs. All I wish for is a tranquil home and a loving relationship with my human(s). One canine sibling would be ok but I also wouldn't mind being your only dog. I'm not accustomed to cats.

Hintergrund

Diana has traits of the White Swiss Shepherd breed. We rescued her at the start of 2020 when she was pregnant. She gave birth to two puppies under our care and now lives at our Shems Refuge.
