I'm Sooty, a gentle pup looking for love. I'm very friendly with people and keen on affection. I'm used to sharing my space with many other dogs, but after all this time at the refuge I'd really like a home of my own. I may look like a junior but I'm 5 years old.

Background

Sooty is one of a litter of 8 puppies rescued in the village of Azrarag in early 2020. Several of his siblings have since been adopted. Sooty spent several years at our Shems refuge until we relocated him back to our farm in 2024. Sooty can be prepared for international adoption within 3-4 months upon request.

After confirming your adoption, we’ll assist with travel logistics to bring your new friend home safely and cost-effectively. If you’re in Morocco or can visit, you’re welcome to pick up your dog directly from us and have a tour of the animal refuge.

We’ll evaluate your application and discuss with you whether the dog(s) you’re interested in are a good match. If not, we’ll suggest other wonderful dogs that share a similar appearance, yet better suit your lifestyle and expectations.
