Hi there, I’m Peanut, a quiet, thoughtful boy with a heart of gold. Born in March 2022, I’ve had a bit of a rough start, but I’ve grown into a calm and gentle soul. I’m good at making friends with other dogs, and I enjoy spending my days observing the world around me. When I know someone, I’m as friendly as they come, but I can be a bit shy when meeting new people. I’m just looking for someone patient and kind who will give me the time to build my confidence and show them how sweet I can be.

Peanut’s early life was spent at a warehouse, where he was born among his siblings. Sadly, his littermates faced tragic accidents when trucks rolled through the area. When the workers noticed the danger, they reached out to us for help. We rescued Peanut, his surviving siblings, and their mother, allowing the puppies to stay with her at our shelter for several weeks. Since then, Peanut has thrived in the company of other dogs, becoming a gentle and calm companion. He’s been fully vaccinated and treated for worms and fleas, but what he really needs now is a loving home where he can continue to grow and flourish. His adopter will need to offer him patience, letting him settle at his own pace as he gains confidence. Could you be the one to help Peanut blossom?

After confirming your adoption, we’ll assist with travel logistics to bring your new friend home safely and cost-effectively. If you’re in Morocco or can visit, you’re welcome to pick up your dog directly from us and have a tour of the animal refuge.
