Hello, I'm delightful Delilah! I first met the SARA crew when I was in a desperate place and I instantly knew that my future lay with them. Thankfully, they agreed to take me with them to the farm refuge, where I've been enjoying my life ever since. As I'm recovering from a past injury I still spend a lot of time resting in the garden. Otherwise I like to mingle with my peers and I'm thrilled when people show interest in me. Despite the hardship I endured, my trust in humans was never broken and I've recovered well at the refuge. It doesn't take me long to warm up to strangers and to ask for cuddles. I'm ready to become your loving companion for life. I'd make a great family dog as long as you make me feel safe, and I'm more than happy to share my home with other dogs and/or cats.

Background

We brought Delilah from the dog pound in January 2025. She had been injured and was limping on her right hind leg. Her injury didn't require any surgery and her limp has lessened over time, now barely limiting her mobility. She doesn't have any special needs. For the time being she shouldn't engage in any intense exercise and her leg should get checked out in the future.

After confirming your adoption, we’ll assist with travel logistics to bring your new friend home safely and cost-effectively. If you’re in Morocco or can visit, you’re welcome to pick up your dog directly from us and have a tour of the animal refuge.

We’ll evaluate your application and discuss with you whether the dog(s) you’re interested in are a good match. If not, we’ll suggest other wonderful dogs that share a similar appearance, yet better suit your lifestyle and expectations.
