Hi there. I’m Anika, a cheerful and lively Sloughi mix born in September 2020. I absolutely adore people and love spending time with my human friends here at the shelter. My enthusiasm is hard to miss, I’m always wagging my tail and eagerly seeking attention when team members visit. I also get along wonderfully with other dogs, which makes me a great pack member. I have a lot of energy and love to run, so a home with a large outdoor space or active adopters who enjoy running or hiking would be perfect for me, Once I’ve had my fun outdoors, I’ll be happy to settle down and, with the right guidance, I know I’ll become a calm and loyal companion just like my siblings.

Anika’s journey began in the suburbs of Agadir, where she was rescued as a small puppy along with her mum and siblings. Her family has long since found their forever homes, and now it’s Anika’s turn. Throughout her time at the shelter, she’s blossomed into a lively and affectionate dog, always ready to make new friends, whether human or canine. Her energy and zest for life make her a joy to be around. With the right care and space to thrive, we know Anika will make an incredible addition to any loving home. After confirming your adoption, we’ll assist with travel logistics to bring your new friend home safely and cost-effectively. If you’re in Morocco or can visit, you’re welcome to pick up your dog directly from us and have a tour of the animal refuge.

We’ll evaluate your application and discuss with you whether the dog(s) you’re interested in are a good match. If not, we’ll suggest other wonderful dogs that share a similar appearance, yet better suit your lifestyle and expectations.
